This paper tries to build the territory of a problem: how can we do a theory of the political scream? Its starting point questions the possibility of a theory which avoids the reduction of the scream to a scientific treatment and to a poetic mimetism. The way out of this dead-end is a paradoxical and utopic figure named «screaming without screaming while screaming». This figure is unfolded by a small genealogy of the exclusion of the political scream: the tragic scream, the neutralized scream, the dominated scream and the therapitized scream. The conclusion points towards an anarchistic strategy in order to unfreeze the political scream. We don’t know what a political scream can do, and we need the political scream in order to recover our political words and worlds.
