Lo Sguardo includes a section called “Contributions” that welcomes original manuscripts reviewed by two external referees according to the double-blind review system. The number of the call for papers and their topics will be detailed and specified by the editors of every single number. The call for papers will appear on Lo Sguardo’s website until the submission deadline. They can be translated into major European languages.
Lo Sguardo may adopt two different ways to ask for and receive a proposal in its calls for papers:
1) Call for proposals: authors are be invited to send an abstract of the article. All the abstracts will be evaluated by the referee board of the journal, and later selected by the editors of the issue, based on criteria of accuracy in form and contents, consequentiality in the argumentation, and inherence to the topic. In case of acceptance of the proposal, the editorial team will ask the author to send the full article by a new deadline. The article will be submitted to a peer-review process, pursuant to the following rules effective for the point 2)
2) Call for papers, that will be selected according to the following rules.
All the submissions to Lo Sguardo must be made through the journal’s OJS Editorial Platform, available at https://editorial.losguardo.net/ojs/index.php/LS/about/submissions.
Please note that submissions sent in any other form or through other channels will not be considered.

When submitting your article to Lo Sguardo, please take care to select the appropriate section that coincides with the call for papers you are answering.
Please strictly follow the journal’s guidelines.
Format your paper in .doc or .docx (not .odt, pdf, et alia). The contribution must be new and unpublished, and not being in evaluation elsewhere. At least one file of your article must be named and titled anonymously. You can also add a non-anonymized version of your article.
Please prepare a short abstract of no longer than 1000 characters including spaces. The paper must be submitted not after the deadline indicated in the call for papers. We will reject the contributions received after the due date. The article can be submitted in one of the following languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish.
